I've been using Meetily for local meeting recording and summaries, and I wanted a simple way to get the outputs into my own workflow as Markdown files.

This is pretty cool. I’ve been looking for something that can run fully local without sending meeting data anywhere, and most tools in this space are cloud-first. The Docker support plus Ollama integration makes it even more interesting since you can pair it with models you already trust.

This app looks incredible, it'll be amazing to help me work. I'll give it a try soon.

Really interesting tool ! I wondering if a mobile application is scheduled or the local treatment will be problematic with the core on the smartphone ? I will follow the development of the tool closely :)

Great Project! Will this ultimately be managed through the settings of the client? My ideal system configuration would be one where I can run the client on one system and have the transcription / AI summarization aspects be offloaded to a beefier box (ideally making use of ollama) FYI - Right…

I love it. Please come back and post your progress! I'd recommend starting simpler than your design. You're going to get most of the benefits from the transcription and summary. You could try and start with something that just does that (to like a text file) before you make it more complicated.

Honestly SHOCKED it took this long to make an open source solution for meeting notes, whisper x has had speaker diarization for almost a year now but only seeing something like this for the first time now. Great job, looks awesome

Hey, thanks so much for the tool! Quick question, how do I enable other languages? I have meetings in two different languages (English and Portuguese), but I can't seem to set it to auto model.

This is great OP! I need something similar as well, but more like a headless API service, and which can integrate with the calendar meetings (which I see you have on your roadmap).

Awesome! Please, please allow to edit default summary template - the default one looks like a basic stuff for a corporation talk, but in real life it's not usable and a simple conspect or summary without strict format would be better.

Hey, congrats on the v0.4.0 release. This is really cool! I spent some time testing Meetily on my Windows machine with a Radeon Pro 580, mostly for Spanish/English meetings.

dude This is soo god! You're a hero! I Just found it, in search of a tool that can help us in our Lengthy House project meetings. I was about to build it myself without ui in python. I wondered how far I could change your templates?

And yes, I agree that reliability should come before adding a bunch of features. That is actually one of the reasons I liked Meetily. I do not want it to become another huge productivity app.

Big fan of this repo. Thanks for doing this. Do you have a timeline for when you plan to release speaker diarization? Without this feature, the appeal is limited, and I cannot generate quality notes.
